Whoever said that clearly didn’t live in Britain. We’re making hay in the gaps between the rain and the deliveries to our customers. However we definitely mustn’t grumble as we have had a bumper crop this year of really beautiful small bale hay.
We’re often asked why we make small bales and not big round ones, for us the answer is simple, it’s better for the customer. We are the customer as much as our paying customers. We feed Venn Farm small bale hay to our broodmares, foals and competition ponies and there’s nothing like it. It’s convenient to store, carry and use. It can be taken away to competitions easily, without the need to move to Haylage and fits in w wheelbarrow.
